Joe trained as a joiner over 12 years ago in Stroud working with lots of Oak and hardwoods mainly making windows, doors and stairs. After passing his NVQ3 which qualifies him as a master craftsman he branchedout into site carpentry and worked for many years sub contracting all around the South West covering everything from new builds to grade 1 listed restoration projects.
Along the way he completed a few loft conversions for other companies and found that he really enjoyed the varied nature of these projects namely how quickly you could transform a property bringing new space and energy into a home in a short time.
After being given a chance to do a project for himself he found he thrived at it and really enjoyed the project managing side just as much as he enjoyed building it so he created J. Vincent Loft Conversions, he believes that he has the perfect set of skills along with his close team to give an exemplary finish to a loft, from planning with the client, project management and through to fine finishing using his joinery background with bespoke storage solutions if required and a high standard finishing touch.
