We have worked with Joe Vincent and his team for the last few months on three projects at our home in BS7. The first was a general building project to reinstate and obtain building regularisation sign-off for a supporting wall. Second, the major project, was the upgrading and re-roofing of our 30-year-old loft conversion. Victorian terrace loft conversion in Easton, project had gone really well. We required a two stage process where we got the front half of the roof completed (front of roof completely re-done with steels and velux windows) and then the main loft conversion (stairs, dormer, new main bedroom and en-suite) a few months later. The guys who work for Joe are brilliant, professional and friendly and throughout we were having to work from home. Sub-contractors such as plumber, electrician, tilers and renderers also great work and service. Would highly recommend.

Joe recently completely a number of jobs for us, including knocking through between our two downstairs rooms and installing a wooden staircase to our loft space.He was professional and knowledgeable throughout, from quoting to completing. He arranged everything including building regs, other professionals such as plumbers and plasterers and even helped us pick appropriate radiators for our new space.His whole team were great, they worked quickly and efficiently and minimised the mess as much as possible. We are so pleased with out loft conversion!Joe has a real passion for what he does and really puts the customer at the heart of the build. He was open to ideas and requests for tweaks, and more importantly he identified changes which would be better for us and suggested them even if it meant more work for himself. He really understood what we wanted from the space rather than just meeting the plans in the quickest way.Joe was also great at communicating, double checking details rather than making any assumptions, and was great with any issues or snagging that we did have. Giving feedback to trades can be a bit fraught, but Joe took any feedback openly and had a real eye for detail with both his work and that of his contractors.He was also really good at keeping mess and disruption to a minimum. He has kids the same age as ours so understood the need for safety and a relatively clean space. Even with old black plaster, I was amazed at how minimal the mess was when they needed to take the old ceiling out to fit the stairs.In summary, a lovely and considerate person to work with, who really knows his stuff.

Lockdown Loft and Kitchen Renovation - When I first met Joe he was very knowledgable and obviously had the experience to create the loft we were looking for, other companies send salesman's to do the pricing but Joe was there from start to finish, he took me to view one of the previous lofts he had done and the workmanship was excellent, he was our 1st choice to do our work. He arranged all of the different trades that was needed during the build and took a lot of the stress away from us when living through renovations. During the build Joe and his team were on time, reliable trustworthy and always cleaned up at the end of the day which made a huge difference to us as we have 2 young daughters. During the build we wanted to tweak a few things and nothing was too much trouble for Joe and the end result was better than what we thought could be achieved. I would highly recommend Joe Vincent. We were looking for a number of tradesmen to collaborate and deliver a ‘knock through’ downstairs to expand our lounge when we were recommended Joe.He offered a very competitive quote but also took the pain away from us and project managed all the work from the structural knock through, organising the council’s sign off, plastering, carpentry and plumbing. Having gone through the rigmarole of managing several separate tradesman in the past, I can safely say that Joe was 2nd to none here.In terms of the manner in which he delivered the project, he also stands out head and shoulders above any other tradesman I have worked with in the past. Having had a conservatory built over 15 years ago, it was time to either build an extension or renovate what was already there. Joe and his team replaced the old poly carbonate roof with a replacement tiled roof which was insulated and fitted 3 velux roof windows. In addition, the old patio doors were removed and replaced with bifolding doors which has really opened up the lounge and made the conservatory a much more useable and warmer room. The job was completed in a very professional manner and his work ethic is second to none. I would Highly recommend Joe as a great builder and carpenter and would definitely use him again for future home improvements.
