To become an FMB member we had to demonstrate our trading history, ongoing job inspections, credit checks and director checks, proof that you're dealing with an established, professional company.
Total Building Control inspect our work at every key stage. We always welcome inspections, it's how you and we both know the job has been done properly.
We're fully insured to cover everyone working on site, everyone living in the home, and any unexpected situations that arise during the build. Complete peace of mind.
Every accreditation matters, but so does the person. You deal with the same team on every project, from the first consultation and design through to sign-off.
We used J Vincent Lofts for a kitchen diner extension on our house in Bedminster and couldn’t be happier with the result. Joe was incredibly helpful right from the start and always quick to reply whenever we messaged him with a question or new requirement. We had Ben on-site every day and he was absolutely fantastic; thorough and a pleasure to have around.Being an old-ish 1930s house we uncovered plenty of surprises along the way, and the team took every one of them in their stride. Notably, Joe researched the groundwork that was needed for our specific area and arranged all of that. When any requirements needed changing on the fly they were always accommodating, and importantly they kept us in the loop about any impact on the budget that had been set out at the start. No task was too big, and every trade they brought in was just as thorough and personable.A genuinely great experience from start to finish, super chuffed with the work they did and highly recommend them to anyone looking for reliable builders in Bristol.

Joe and his team did a great job on our loft conversion and 1st floor renovations. Our conversion came with the added complexity of lowering the first-floor ceilings to create enough space for the loft, but Joe took it all in his stride.Throughout the build, Joe was incredibly accommodating when we asked to include additional work, seemingly unfazed by any request and capable of making it a reality. His budgeting and organisation were excellent from start to finish, which no doubt helped us avoid any issues in what was quite an extensive project!It was a pleasure having Joe and his team in our home, they were respectful, hardworking, and clearly took pride in their work.
